Our Pharaoh Ant Treatment Program

Our program focuses on colony reduction using the right products in the right way—without triggering colony splitting.

1) Inspection & Ant Identification

We inspect activity areas, entry points, moisture sources, and trail patterns. In multi-unit buildings, we look for structural pathways that allow ants to travel between units.

2) Targeted Non-Repellent Treatment (Primary Method)

Each pest control company uses a different approach to pharaoh ant control. At Pest Pro Exterminator, we use a targeted non-repellent treatment to control pharaoh ants without causing colony splitting.

Preparation is required for the first treatment only. No preparation is required for follow-up visits.

Baiting is used as a secondary preventive option (non-gel bait). Professional-grade dual action ant baits are strategically placed in active foraging areas and carried back to the colony, helping reduce queens and brood over time.

3) Monitoring & Adjustments

Pharaoh ants can switch food preferences. We monitor feeding and adjust bait types and placement based on what the colony is accepting.

Pharaoh ant control is a process. Follow-ups are often necessary to:

• confirm reduction in activity

Important: What NOT to Do

To avoid making the problem worse, we strongly recommend:

• Do not spray ants or use strong cleaners on trails
  
  

• Do not use over-the-counter ant sprays or “ant bombs”
  These can cause colonies to split and spread.

How Long Does It Take?
